Center for the Studies of Ethnic Politics
Center for the Studies of Ethnic Politics is a unit within the Department of European Integration Studies.
The Center’s research is focused on the ethnic factors of the European political processes.
The scope of the Center’s scientific interests comprises:
⁃ ethnic identity in the EU member states
⁃ separatism and ethnoregionalism in Europe
⁃ (ethno)populism and (ethno)nationalism in the European political realm
⁃ ethnic factors of migration and migrant adaptation
⁃ relations between migrant communities and host states, as well as the EU institutions
⁃ political representation of ethnic minorities in the European countries
