Аl.А. Gromyko signed a key Task Force position paper of European Leadership Network

IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko as a permanent member of Task Force on Cooperation in Greater Europe signed the common Position Paper «Towards a NATO-Russia basic understanding», prepared by prominent international research center European Leadership Network.
The paper is published on the eve of NATO summit in Brussels and Presidential US-Russia meeting in Helsinki.

That is why the ELN-supported Task Force on Cooperation in Greater Europe have launched a common Position Paper “Towards a NATO-Russia Basic Understanding”.
The Paper proposes a new interim and temporary approach to the management of the NATO-Russia relationship. As detailed in the proposal, while treating each other as adversaries, NATO and Russia should take precautions to ensure they do not to stumble into a conflict.
