IE RAS visit to Voronezh region

On April 10-12, 2016, IE RAS Director, Chairman of RAS Professors Council Аl.А. Gromyko and leading scientific associate S.М. Fedorov visited Voronezh by invitation of Voronezh State University.
During the visit IE RAS and VSU signed the cooperation agreement providing for joint scientific events, internships of VSU students in IE RAS etc. VSU President, professor D.А. Endovitzkiy told about scientific life of the university and intensive international cooperation with European educational and scientific centers. For many years VSU has been hosting the regional office of AES (Association of European Studies) headed by А.V. Akulshina.
With great interest IE RAS representatives studied the collection of rare books and VSU history museum. Аl.А. Gromyko and S.М. Fedorov delivered a public lecture to VSU students and professors and discussed the prospects of further cooperation with the Faculty of International relations and the Department of International relations and regional studies headed by professor А.А. Slinko. A meeting with the First vice-president of Voronezh region Chamber of commerce and industry S.V. Petrovskiy took place.
