«Growth points of the EAEU: economy, security, society»

On April 10, 2018, IE RAS held international conference, devoted to the priority development directions of the Eurasian Economic «Growth points of the EAEU: economy, security, society».
The event was organized by IE RAS along with the Russian-Belorussian expert club and Center for integration prospects research with support of Tele-radio-broadcasting organization (ТRО) of the Union State with participation of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia.
IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko opened the conference. State-Secretary of the Russian Ministry of foreign affairs G.B. Каrаsin greeted the participants and answered their questions. The event was co-moderated by TRO Chairman N.А. Еfimovich.
V. Sutyrin, editor-in-chief of «Eurasia. Expert» journal, executive director of the Russian-Belorussian expert club presented the analytical report «Growth points of the EAEU: economy, security, society». The analytical report «Geography of the EAEU states: from challenges to opportunities» was presented as well. The discussion was shared by: А. Petrovskiy, director of Nomos analytical center in Minsk, co-chairman of «Eurasia. Expert» journal editorial board; Ambassador М. Entin, head of European law department of MGIMO University, chairman of the board of Association of European studies; S. Rekeda, director of Center for integration prospects research and others.
