Meeting of Scientific council of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On December 14, 2016, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko took part in the meeting of Scientific council of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
By tradition, the event was opened by S.V. Lavrov. In light of US Presidential elections’ results prospects of Russian-American relations were discussed. Council members confirmed their interest in collective analysis of acute trends in global agenda and called for leading the bilateral relations out of the crisis by means of equal and mutually respectful dialogue. Such progress would correspond to the interests of Russia and USA and promote healthier political situation in the world and constructive multilateral interaction in face of common challenges and threats.
