Parliamentary hearings in the Federation Council

On June 7, 2017, IE RAS Director Al.A. Gromyko gave a speech at the parliamentary hearings in the Federation Council «Prevention of interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation: legislature and law application practice».

The speeches and discussion focused on prevention of various forms of intervention in the internal affairs of other states. Commenting the idea of creating a commission on protection of the state sovereignty and prevention of intervention in the internal affairs of Russia, Valentina Matvienko outlined that monitoring of law application practice and legislature improvement measures will be carried out.
