On April 6, 2017, senior scientific associate of IE RAS Department of Black and Mediterranean sea region studies К.V. Vlasova gave the second public lecture of the federal project «Higher student school of parliamentarism» and regional project «School of deputy assistant» named: «Russia in global politics and modern international relations».

On April 5, 2017, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko gave an interview to the influential Greek newspaper «Kathimerini».

On April 3, 2017, IE RAS associates took part in presentation of the collective monograph «Social market economy: founders and classics», organized by Konrad Adenauer Foundation office in Russia.

On March 29, 2017, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko presented the principal report «Will Germany be able to save the EU?» at the first round table in the «World economy: global changes» series in the International Union of Economists.

On March 29, 2017, IE RAS held international conference «Modern Europe: 60 years after the Treaty of Rome».

On March 29, 2017, Deputy Director IE RAS V.B. Belov in Berlin took part in the conference «The new Silk way – future trade routes from Asia to the Baltics».

On March 28, 2017, Deputy Director IE RAS V.B. Belov took part in a meeting of «Migration Taskforce» group of «Petersburg dialogue» forum.

On March 27-28, 2017, leading scientific associate IE RAS B.P. Guseletov took part in European Congress of local governments in Krakow, organized by the Institute of Eastern European Studies (Poland) with support of the EU program «Europe for citizens».

On March 28, 2017, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko participated in Russia-Britain relations press conference, organized by Russian International Affairs Council and British Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in MIA «Russia today» multimedia center.

On March 22-24, 2017, Boris Guseletov, Leading scientific associate of IE RAS, took part in Jean Monnet seminar «Future of Europe: commitments in front of the young generation» dedicated to the 60^th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome. The event took place in the Italian capital.

On March 23, 2017, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko participated in the round table «Shipbuilding and navigation: securing Russian national interests», held in MGIMO University and attributed to the 10^th anniversary of the United Shipbuilding Corporation.

On March 20, 2017, Deputy IE RAS Director V.B. Belov took part in «Pravo golosa» show on «Germany-USA: terms of the deal» on TVC channel, and «Moscow-Berlin» TV-bridge on «EU at crossroads. What should Moscow expect from its European partners?» in International multimedia press-center «Russia today».

On March 17-19, 2017, in Lipetsk EU Delegation to Russia organized the seminar «European schools». The event was attended by Head of IE RAS Department of social and political studies V.Y. Schveytzer, who delivered a speech analyzing the latest election results in a number of European countries.

On March 17, 2017, IE RAS held presentation of the new issue of «Contemporary Europe» journal, devoted to the 25^th anniversary of Visegrad group, various aspects of its development and role in modern European politics and relations with Russia.

On March 14-16, 2017, Deputy IE RAS Director V.B. Belov took part in a number of events devoted to Germany and Germany-Russia relations.

On March 16, 2017, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko took part  in the session of CIS section of Scientific Council of Russian Security Council, devoted to «Situation in Armenia on the verge of parliamentary elections».
