March 2025 marks a year since Sweden departed from its centuries-old tradition of neutrality and joined NATO as a permanent member. The authors analyze results of this decision. In particular, the growth of defense budget, military aid to Ukraine, and a number of other steps of Stockholm over the past year. Sweden's actions to militarize the Arctic and the Baltic-Scandinavian macroregion are considered separately.
