Greater Europe expert group session

On June 18-19, 2018, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko in London as a permanent member took part in Greater Europe expert group session.
The project is co-founded by Russian International Affairs Council and European Leadership Network. The session was moderated by RIAC President, former Russian Foreign minister I.S. Ivanov and ELN President, former British Defense minister Lord Brown. The session of experts from Russia, Britain, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Latvia, Germany focused on European security, Russia – NATO relations de-escalation, diplomatic and military measures to diminishing the conflict potential. Key statements of the session formed the final document «The basis for Russia – NATO mutual understanding».
