Press Conference in Saint Petersburg.

On February 27, 2018, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Al.A. Gromyko took part in a press conference which was held at the TASS office in Saint Petersburg and dedicated to the development of transit routes between China, Russia, and Belarus.
The event focused on the overall economic and political situation in Europe; China’s transport projects oriented towards the West; the Russo-European transit cooperation; Baltic and Belorussian projects in transport development; the prospects of competition between the Baltic ports and transport sites of Saint Petersburg Leningrad Oblast; the role and place of Belarus in the system of European, Russian, and Chinese transit. The press conference was also attended by President of the Russian Association of Baltic Studies, Doctor of Economics, SPbU Professor N.M. Mezhevich, first Vice-President of the Transport Integration Group S.D. Vorontsova, and other analysts and experts in the field of transit and transport.
