On December 15, 2021, D.Y. Bazarkina, Leading Researcher at the Department of European Integration Research of the Institute of Europe RAS, presented her paper at the first international conference “Communications Management” (Com-M-2021) (in online format on the Google Meet platform).
The conference was organized by Moscow State Linguistic University with support of Russian Academy of Public Relations, Education Committee of the Russian Association for Public Relations, International Academy of Communicology and “Communicology” scientific journal. The conference covered a wide range of communication problems, from theoretical approaches to practical tasks of communication management in government agencies and business structures. Much attention was paid to protecting citizens from negative psychological impact (fake news, character assassination and other manipulations in media, etc.).
Darya Bazarkina presented the paper “The Role of Psychological Operations in the
Theory of Hybrid War and the Official EU Approach to Combating Hybrid Threats”. The conference was attended by researchers and practitioners in various fields of communications from Armenia, Germany, Greece, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Russia, Sweden, USA, and Ukraine.
