Conference «New challenges in Russian-German economic relations»

On October 24, 2016, Deputy Director IE RAS V.B. Belov at the conference «New challenges in Russian-German economic relations» delivered the report «Prerequisites and prospects of Russian-German relations». The event was organized by Moscow office of Hanns Seidel Stiftung (FRG).
V.B. Belov focused on economic cooperation between regions of Russia and Germany, including the level of clusters. The co-speaker was V. Nussel, deputy of Bavarian Landtag, member of the Committee on economy, mass media, infrastructure, construction, energy and technology. Active participation in the discussion was taken by leading scientific associate of IE RAS Department of Economic Studies N.V. Govorova, who spoke in detail on education and human capital quality in economic cooperation between Russia and Germany. The conference was also attended by: senior scientific associate of Center for German Studies Е.V. Romanova, chief scientific associate of Department of European Security А.А. Sindeev and graduate student of Department of Country Studies А.К. Ivanova.
