Conference «Cooperation of democratic countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia: the new challenges»

On October 19, 2016 Krakov Economic University held international scientific forum «Democracy today – Polish and international experience». This large scale event provided for conference «Cooperation of democratic countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia: the new challenges», organized by KEU Department of Political Science and IE RAS with support of Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
The conference was attended by prominent Polish and Russian scientists from three leading universities of Krakov, from Lodz, Warsaw, etc, from IE RAS, MGIMO, Diplomatic Academy and INION RAS. The participants heard the speeches of S. Kozlovsky, Polish Foreign Ministry representative, and A. Minin, Russian Consul to Krakov.
IE RAS Director, RAS Professor Аl.А. Gromyko and Head of IE RAS Department of Central and Eastern European Studies Dr L.N. Shishelina joined the conference scientific committee. L.N. Shishelina represented at IE RAS at the conference opening, reports were delivered by Dr А.V. Drynochkin, А.А. Gabarta, and Head of IE RAS Department of European Integration Research Dr О.Y. Потемкина.
