Diplomatic days of the Hungarian program «Opening to the East»

On October 24-28, 2016, by invitation of Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Head of IE RAS Department of Central and Eastern European Studies Dr. L.N. Shishelina took part in Diplomatic days of the Hungarian program «Opening to the East».
The meeting, organized by deputy Foreign Minister of Hungary Laszlo Sabo, was attended by representatives of relevant departments of foreign ministries of Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan and Ukraine. The participants of the «diplomatic dialogue» met with State secretaries of Hungarian Foreign Ministry, deputy Head of Hungarian Parliament Commission on foreign policy, heads of several key ministries, and heard their opinions on development of the Eastern direction of Hungarian foreign policy, ask questions and present their own visions on the role of Hungary in the EU and bilateral relations.
