Institute of Europe RAS in «Global Go To Think Tank Index Report 2020»

The Institute of Europe RAS is listed among Top Foreign Policy and International Affairs Think Tanks in «Global Go To Think Tank Index Report 2020», published by the University of Pennsylvania (USA).
On January 27, 2021, «Global Go To Think Tank Index Report 2020» was released. 
The Institute of Europe RAS preserved its 121st place among Top Foreign Policy and International Affairs Think Tanks. This rating includes the best international think tanks that conduct innovational research and analytics in global politics, security and economy on national and international levels. These institutions are leaders in richness of content and multitude of factors of political analysis, aiming at solving a wider scope of problems, promoting discussion, cooperation with corresponding partners, striving to improve the quality of life in their countries. Other Russian think tanks, included in Top Foreign Policy and International Affairs Think Tanks Index, are: IMEMO RAS (38), Council on Foreign and Defense Policy (SVOP) (69), Institute for US and Canadian Studies RAS (ISKRAN) (135), MGIMO University (140), Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) (146).
The Institute of Europe is listed as well among the Best Regional Studies Centers in the 36th place (37 in 2019). This rating is for institutions with the most efficient practices (policies and procedures) of ensuring the quality, independence and integrity of their research. Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Moscow Center, Institute for US and Canadian Studies RAS (ISKRAN), Russian Institute for Oriental Studies RAS are included in this rating as well.
In 2020 «Global Go To Think Tank Index» added a new category without rating – «Best Policy and Institutional Response to COVID-19». The Institute of Europe RAS is the only Russian think tank, listed in this category.
The Institute of Europe RAS was first introduced to «Global Go To Think Tank Index» in 2015, and since then IE RAS is regularly listed among the leading international think tanks.
