Meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe

On November 4, 2016, in Strasbourg the meeting of IE RAS Director Al.A. Gromyko and Permanent representative of Russia to the Council of Europe I.D. Soltanovskiy with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Т. Jagland took place.
The parties discussed the current state of international affairs and ways of solving its problems. In the Palace of Europe Аl.А. Gromyko delivered a public lecture on reasons for the rising tension in Europe. The event was co-organized by «Paris-Berlin-Moscow» association. On November 7 Аl.А. Gromyko took part in the Global forum «Democracy and equality, the role of education».
