Round table «Neutral states and security policy»

On October 3, 2016, IE RAS held the round table «Neutral states and security policy», organized by IE RAS Department of European Security and Department of Social and Political Studies.
The audience enjoyed the speeches of representatives of diplomatic missions: Ambassador of Sweden Peter Ericson, Consul Ambassador of Finland Anti Helanterya, Consul Ambassador of Switzerland Patrick Franzen. Russian speakers, apart from IE RAS, represented Primakov IMEMO RAS, IGH RAS, Financial University of Russian Government, MGIMO University, Diplomatic Academy etc. The event proved that the subject of neutrality in contemporary Europe is acute and in great demand both from the scientific point of view, and from the viewpoint of normalization of situation in the sphere of European security.
