On May 30, 2017, in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko took part in the meeting of the Russian civic council on international cooperation and public diplomacy «Acute problems of Russia-EU relations».
The meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia А.Y. Мeshkov and First deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation S.А. Оrdzhonikidze. The meeting covered the issues of European/international security in face of new challenges and threats, and input of civic society institutions in forming the global uniting agenda for Russia and the EU.
