«Terrorism may destroy democracy»

IE RAS Director Al.A. Gromyko believes that the terrorist threat urges the Western countries to limit freedom.

Europe is shocked by another act of terror: a truck ploughed into a crowd of people celebrating the Bastille Day on Promenade des Anglais in Nice. The driver fired at residents and tourists with a machine gun. Over 80 people were killed, dozens of citizens were injured.

Al.A. Gromyko told «Rosbalt» why this new act of terror was to be expected, and disclosed the essence and causes of international terrorism.
