«The new Silk way – future trade routes from Asia to the Baltics»

On March 29, 2017, Deputy Director IE RAS V.B. Belov took part in the conference «The new Silk way – future trade routes from Asia to the Baltics», held in the Representation of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the Federation in Berlin.
 
The event was opened by Head of Representative office P. Zinnow. The participants were greeted by: Ambassador of Kazakhstan B. Nusupov and Minister of Energy, Infrastructure and Digitalization of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern К. Pegel. During the first podium discussion V.B. Belov highlighted major economic and political interests of Russia in the global project «The Silk way», including possible interaction between EU and EAEU.
