First Russian-Slovakian discussion forum

On May 26, 2016, Head of IE RAS Department of Central and Eastern European Studies Dr. L. Shishelina and leading scientific associate of IE RAS Department of European Integration Research Dr. N. Kaveshnikov took part in First Russian-Slovakian discussion forum, held in Bratislava with support of Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Foundation, Russian Embassy in Slovakia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Policy of Slovak Republic and Slovakian association of foreign policy.
The forum goal was to promote better understanding of national positions on acute issues of bilateral relations and current international problems. Russia was represented by scientists of IE RAS, MGIMO, Diplomatic Academy of Russian Foreign Ministry, RISS, Saint-Petersburg State University, Gubkin RSU of Oil and Gas. Slovakia was represented by leading scientists of Slovakian association of foreign policy, high level officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Policy of Slovak Republic, professors of Comenius University and famous Slovakian politicians.
On the same day, L. Shishelina visited International Visegrad Fund in Bratislava to present IE RAS publications on Visegrad Group studies.
