General meeting of RAS members

On October 26-28, 2016, in the Great hall of the Russian Academy of Sciences the General meeting of RAS members is taking place. RAS professors are represented by IE RAS Director Al.A. Gromyko, Chairman of RAS professors Coordination council.
On October 26 the scientific session «Genetic resources of plants, animals and microorganisms at the mankind’s service» took place. Introductory speeches were delivered by: RAS President, Academician V.Е. Fortov, Minister of Education and Science of RF О.Y. Vasilieva, Head of FASO Russia М.М. Kotukov. A series of thematic reports was launched by RAS Vice-President, Academician G.А. Romanenko. On October 27, new RAS members and foreign RAS members are to be elected. On October 28, the secret voting results are to be approved.
