IX Future Forum

On June 7-9, 2017, Deputy Director IE RAS V.B. Belov and Head of IE RAS Department of European security D.А. Danilov took part in international IX Future Forum «Continuity in change», traditionally held in Vakerbart castle (Germany).
The event was organized by Konrad Adenauer Fund (Germany). The discussion was devoted to continuity and change in relations between Germany, Russia, Tadzhikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The participants focused on the framework which could be set as a starting point in the present conditions of uncertainty and rapid changes (see the program

).Every year Konrad Adenauer Fund invites to Vakerbart castle experts from Germany, Russia and Central Asia for opinion exchange on regional and global trends. Future Forum is the platform for mutual analysis and discussion of acute trends in leading European countries. Today they are represented by results of recent and upcoming elections in a number of EU states, as well as political and economic relations between them.
