Meeting of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Russian Federation Council Chairman

On April 20, 2017, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko participated in a meeting of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Russian Federation Council Chairman with the speech «The role and place of the Federation Council in solving the acute problems of Russian internal and foreign policy».
The meeting, led by Federation Council Chairman V.I. Matvienko, continued the tradition of public discussion of Federation Council activity. The discussion of its results for the past 5 years was attended by: Director of RAS Institute of USA and Canada, RAS Academician S.М. Rogov, Director of MSU Moscow school of economics, RAS Academician А.D. Nekipelov, Director of the Russian Government Institute of legislature and comparative law studies, RAS Vice-President Т.Y. Chabrieva, President of MGIMO University, RAS Academician А.V. Torkunov, Director of Institute of social and political studies, RAS Academician G.V. Оsipov, heads of regional state authorities, political scientists and experts, representatives of social organizations.
