Meeting with Hanns Seidel Foundation delegation

On November 14, 2016, Deputy Director IE RAS V.B. Belov and associates of IE RAS Department of Social and Political Studies – V.Y. Schveytzer, R.N. Lunkin and V. Yazkova – took part in the meeting with Hanns Seidel Foundation delegation, represented by: deputy of Bavarian landtag, member of Committee on internal security and local government, Chairman of CSU Youth wing Dr. Hans Reihhart, deputy of Bavarian landtag, member of Committee on Federation and EU matters Mathilde Wittmann, independent political scientist, Middle East expert Dr. Martin Pabst, Head of Hanns Seidel Foundation Brussels office Dr. Marcus Ehm. The meeting took place in Moscow in Savoy hotel.
After the words of greetings R.N. Lunkin delivered the report «Religious and political radicalism as the challenge of modernity». The German party presented the report by Dr. Hans Reihhart, followed by an interesting and comprehensive discussion.
