Presentation of the new issue of «Contemporary Europe» journal

On March 17, 2017, IE RAS held presentation of the new issue of «Contemporary Europe» journal, devoted to the 25th anniversary of Visegrad group, various aspects of its development and role in modern European politics and relations with Russia.
The presentation was organized by IE RAS Center of Visegrad studies and Department of Central and Eastern European studies. The event was attended by ambassadors of Visegrad states in Russia, IE RAS associates, representatives of Institute of Slavic studies RAS, Higher School of Economics, Diplomatic Academy, MGIMO University and Lomonosov MSU.
The participants were greeted by IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Al.A. Gromyko, stating that the issue faithfully portrays the current situation in Visegrad region and around it. The issue editor, Dr. L.N. Shishelina told about the history of IE RAS Center of Visegrad studies and claimed significant progress over 10 years in promoting the respective field of research in Russia.
