On March 29, 2017, IE RAS Director, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko presented the principal report «Will Germany be able to save the EU?» at the first round table in the «World economy: global changes» series in the International Union of Economists.
The event, chaired by Primakov IMEMO RAS President, RAS Academician А.А. Dynkin, hosted the speeches of: Chief director of financial research, Head of financial analysis department of the Institute of Energy and Finance, Dr. М.V. Еrshov, Scientific head of the Institute of Economy RAS, RAS Corresponding member R.S. Grinberg, Ambassador at large, Vice-President of the International Union of Economists, Dr. E.V. Мitrofanova, Head of Department of strategic planning and economic policy of Lomonosov MSU Faculty of State management, Dr. Е.N. Veduta, University of Texas professor, Chairman of American organization «United economists for reduction of arms» James Galbraith and other experts.
