On November 14, 2022, IE RAS Director Al.А. Gromyko was invited to Saint-Petersburg University of The Humanities and Social Sciences by the President А.S. Zapesotzkiy.

On November 14, 2022, Deputy IE RAS Director V.B. Belov and senior research fellow of IE RAS Center for German studies А.V. Коtоv took part in the ceremonial meeting, dedicated to the 50^th anniversary «Russia-Germany» international society.

On November 10-12, 2022, IE RAS Director Al.А. Gromyko, as well as a number of IE RAS researchers, took part in the First Saint-Petersburg congress of international relations’ researchers «Global and regional challenges in the changing world».

On November 8, 2022, IE RAS held the European seminar, organized together with INION RAS with participation of the Association of European Studies and Eurasian Information and Analytical Consortium.

On November 3, 2022, the Russian International Affairs Council published the analytical article of IE RAS Director Al.A. Gromyko «The Caribbean crisis 2.0? Nuclear factor in proxy wars».

On October 27-28, 2022, in Kazan the Institute of Europe RAS, Institute of USA and Canada RAS, Institute of Latin America RAS and Institute of Oriental studies RAS took part in II international scientific forum on global security and scientific diplomacy «Andrey Gromyko and Russian diplomacy in the era of global confrontations».

On October 27, 2022, Deputy IE RAS Director, Head of Department of Countries studies and Center for German studies V.B. Belov took part in the «Petersburg dialogue» round table in Baku in the course of XV Verona Eurasian economic Forum.

On October 24-25, 2022, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko in Tomsk State University delivered the public lecture «Political geometry of the modern world» in the «Big University» format (for students of six universities of the city). Besides, he gave the «Diplomacy as science and art» lecture and answered questions of students of the faculty of historical and political sciences TSU.

On October 25, 2022, Head of IE RAS Center for British studies Е.V. Аnanieva took part in «This morning» show on Zvezda TV channel with comment on R. Sunak’s election as the leader of Conservative party and prospects of Britain.

On October 20-22, 2022, the Institute of Europe RAS and HSE held the international conference «Public diplomacy of great and regional powers in the Mediterranean and Black Seas region».
