On November 3-4, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko took part in the meeting of the Committee on political affairs and democracy of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Budapest.

On October 28-29, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko presented the report «Russia and Europe, Russian in Europe» at the Euroseminar with participation of Pugwash committees and active members from more than 10 European countries.

On October 27-29, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko (online) and Deputy IE RAS Director, Head of Department of Country studies and Center for German studies V.B. Belov in Radebeul (FRG) took part in XII German-Russian Forum of the future, organized by Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

On October 18, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko and Deputy IE RAS Director, Head of Department of Country studies and Center for German studies V.B. Belov took part in the round table «Results of elections in Russia and Germany and the future of Russian-German relations», organized by Russian Foreign Affairs Council along with Hanns Saidel Foundation in Moscow.

On October 12-14, 2021, the international forum «The Space of Eurasia» was held in Moscow with support of the Russian Presidential Grant Fund. 

On October 13, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko delivered a speech at the section «75 years of the Victory over fascism. Results of Yalta-Potsdam international relations system formation» within IV Global forum of young diplomats «The Diplomacy of Victory».

On October 6-8, 2021, the final of the Competition of Young international affairs experts of the CIS took place in Moscow with support of the Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation (IFESCCO).

On October 6, 2021, the Centre for British Studies of the Institute of Europe RAS held international conference «The United Kingdom Post Brexit».

On October 02, 2021, Deputy IE RAS Director, Head of Department of Country studies and Center for German studies V.B. Belov on the eve of German Unity Day (October 3 in FRG) gave an extended interview on results of A. Merkel’s term and Bundestag elections.

On September 30 – October 1, 2021, Аl.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, by invitation of Mitteleuropa association took part in XVII international forum of Aquileia Euroregion «From Viral Emergency to the Cultural Vaccine» in Udine, Italy.

On September 30, 2021, Аl.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, took part in the podium online discussion with Charles Kupchan, professor at Georgetown University, former senior director for European affairs on the staff of the National Security Council (NSC) in the Barack Obama administration.

On September 28, 2021, Аl.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, in Minsk took part in the international conference «30 years of the Commonwealth of Independent States: results and prospects».
