On July 14, 2021 in «Russia Today» press center Аl.А. Gromyko, Director of IE RAS, Chairman of А.А. Gromyko Association of Foreign Policy Studies, took part in Moscow — Minsk teleconference with presentation of the analytical report «The Union State of Belarus and Russia: Results for Citizens and Prospects».

Sustainability of any integration union depends on public opinion. This is true for the prospects of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. What do the citizens of Russia and Belarus think of their integration? Responses to this question are presented in the analytical report «The Union State of Belarus and Russia: Results for Citizens and Prospects», prepared by Russian-Belorussian Expert group for VIII Forum of regions of the two states.

On July 5-9, 2021, Nizhniy Novgorod hosted practical courses «European Union: training for teachers and students», organized by the Institute of Europe RAS, Association of European Studies, Institute of international relations and world history of National Research Nizhniy Novgorod state university named after N.I. Lobachevskiy, with support of Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

On July 5, 2021, N.I. Lobachevskiy NNSU, Institute of Europe RAS, Association of European studies in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Foundation held the international scientific online seminar «EU-27 and architecture of European security».

On June 29-30, 2021, Al.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, took part in a series of events, aimed at development of regional cooperation within the Union State of Russia and Belarus.   

On June 26, 2021, Al.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, gave interview to «What’s going on?» program of «International life» magazine.

Al.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, Angela Stent, Director of Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European studies of Georgetown University, and А.V. Kortunov, General Director of Russian International Affairs Council, gave interview to Hanns Seidel Foundation on results of Russia – USA summit in Geneva.

On June 23, 2021, Al.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, took part in a meeting of the Scientific council of the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, led by S.V. Lavrov.

On June 18, 2021, Al.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, delivered online speech by invitation of the International Affairs and Foreign Policy Institute (INCIPE, Spain).

On June 8, 2021, Al.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, took part in international expert seminar «Strategic stability in the XXI century», organized by Hanns Seidel Foundation (Germany).

On June 8, 2021, the online conference «Problems and ways of realization of the goals of the Russian-German reciprocal year «Economy and sustainable development» 2020-2022» was held by IE RAS Center for German studies and German-Russian economic alliance.
