On November 24-26, 2021, Deputy IE RAS Director, Head of Department of Country studies and Center for German studies V.B. Belov in Berlin and Moscow took part in three scientific events, dedicated to the prospects of Russian-German relations under the new coalition government of FRG.

On November 18, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko moderated the plenary meeting of VIII Moscow international financial and economic forum.

On November 9, 2021, Аl.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, opened the expert session «Russian-Belorussian relations in 2021: Union programs, new challenges and directions of integration».

On November 8, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko gave a speech at XXVI Potsdam meetings, held in Moscow under the patronage of German Foreign Minister H. Mааs and Russian Foreign Minister S.V. Lavrov.

On October 28-29, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko presented the report «Russia and Europe, Russian in Europe» at the Euroseminar with participation of Pugwash committees and active members from more than 10 European countries.

On October 27-29, 2021, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko (online) and Deputy IE RAS Director, Head of Department of Country studies and Center for German studies V.B. Belov in Radebeul (FRG) took part in XII German-Russian Forum of the future, organized by Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

On October 20, 2021, Deputy IE RAS Director R.N. Lunkin delivered a report on global trends in religion and identity at the Academic council meeting of the Federal Center of Theoretical and Applied Sociology RAS.
