On April 15, 2026, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, took part in the All-Russian scientific conference «USA-250: history, politics, memory».

On April 14, 2026, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, gave interview to OTP Russian TV channel on major international events, global situation, elections in Europe and European elites' sentiments. 

On April 13, 2026, RAS Corresponding member Аl.А. Gromyko, IE RAS Director, delivered a public lecture at the Economic faculty of Peoples’ Friendship University named after Patrice Lumumba.

On April 9, 2026, IE RAS held a regular «Mediterranean talks» seminar on «Europe and the new interventionist aid».

On April 7, 2026, IE RAS, with support of UN Information Center in Russia, held a meeting with Rebeca Grynspan, UNCTAD Secretary-General, a candidate for UN Secretary-General position.

IE RAS presents Analytical papers of IE RAS No 14, 2026 «Norway’s Arctic energy push amid Middle East turmoil: implications for Russia’s interests» (in Russian) by Sergey Grinyaev, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Chief Researcher at the Center for Arctic Research of the Department of Country Studies, Institute of Europe, Russian Academy of Sciences.

On March 30, 2026, Sochi hosted the meeting of Mass Media Working group of Petersburg Dialogue Forum «The Third World War. Fantasy or Reality?».

Conversation between Dr. Alexey Gromyko, Director, Institute of Europe (Russian Academy of Sciences), president, Russian Association of European Studies, and Prof. Jiang Feng, Chairman of the Council of the Shanghai Academy of Global Government and Area Studies (SAGGAS) at Shanghai International Studies University, which he previously headed. Jiang also served as Minister-Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Berlin.

On March 26, 2026, IE RAS associates took part in XI Saint-Petersburg international economic congress.

March 11, 2026, IE RAS Department of social and political studies, IE RAS Center Europe–BRICS and Center for BRICS politics (Brazil) conducted a joint international scientific seminar.

On March 10, 2026, IE RAS hosted the 67^th meeting of N.P. Shmelev Economic seminar on «Development of area economic integration in the EU».

On March 2-4, 2026, IE RAS Director Аl.А. Gromyko, RAS Corresponding member, RIAС member, took part in the Third Russia – Chine dialogue.
